Olivia Macassey is a poet whose work has previously appeared in Poetry NZ, Landfall, Takahe, Rabbit and other publications, and was exhibited nationally in Len Castle’s Mountain to the Sea: ceramics photography poetry. She is the author of two books, including The Burnt Hotel, and co-edits (with Piet Nieuwland) the Northland anthology Fast Fibres. Olivia grew up in the Coromandel and lives in Northland.
