Three woman Fifi knows have been diagnosed with breast cancer. A battle to keep fatigue and anaemia at bay; red blood cells are knocked back by the treatment. Photos of the cancer cells reveal them to be like delicate frilled bouquets. The question posed by Fifi through this incredible piece of art being "Beauty Disguising the Beast?"

Fifi is a veteran of Wearable Arts; a finalist and award winner since 1995 with 19 entries in show. Her work has been exhibited many times in Nelson’s World of Wearable Art Museum and two of her pieces are currently touring New Zealand in the WOW ‘Off The Wall’ Exhibition.
