This greatly enlarged second edition of "What's In A Name" poses a number of questions, such as, just who was Alfred Domett referring to when he wrote that he had been requested by almost all the inhabitants of the district to name the main town after Lord Robert Clive?

Two enjoyable additions to this edition are the “von Tempsky episode” in Eskdale, and the mysterious Ombu Tree at Clive.
