This frame is all hardwood (so very strong) with large timbers that were all hand hewn in the winter of 1849 and made into the barn frame the spring of 1850. The ancestors of the dad and son that made the barn still own the land now. The frame is in excellent condition and our team will dismantle the frame, power wash it, restore it, package it, fumigate it, load it into a container and freight it to NZ. On arrival we will unload the container, fumigate and heat treat the timber, load it and deliver it to your site. We supply all the fixings, dimensioned plans and hardware needed for the frame.

The price is valid on the mainland anywhere in NZ where access is acceptable for unloading.

At Heritage Timbercraft we have brought in 6 reclaimed barns already to NZ and have been doing timber framing in NZ for almost 20 years now.

Additional services we offer include raising the frame on the slab you provide, engineering of the frame, foundations and bracing. In addition we also offer a full concept design and building consent service and have local building partners who work with us to complete the build in many areas around NZ.

This frame is 40 feet x 60 feet so 216m2. It would make a beautiful home with a loft at one or both ends. We can arrange feature floor joists, feature stairs and reclaimed doors out of the Threshing floor boards.
