The MaizeKing products consists of a mixture of fermentation extracts, made from the fermentations of beneficial lactic acid bacteria, and a blend of other nutrients and microbial stimulants.

MaizeKing has a dual mode of action that preserves feed quality: it activates the beneficial bacteria that occur naturally on maize to produce ensiling lactic acid and acetic acid, and it inhibits the yeasts and fungi responsible for decomposition and spoilage.
