This 1993 tractor in the area is known as the "Recoverer". Has been solely used for launching a large 7.5m 3tonne boat, across soft sand in Northland. We can not remember how many boats and tractors, we have had to pull out of the soft sand, clear of the beach because their tractors got stuck. Nothing better when pulling your boat up off the beach, being in an air conditioned cab, protected from the elements. Please note : Pick-up for tractor is Waipu Cove , Northland not Waitakere
