Description

Wine Press from Portugal - a little beauty that would still work after a bit of a clean up I am fairly certain as all the components are here. It was a home press machine with two turning drums and spiked to catch thew grapes, the wheel has a handle on and that is used to make the churning happen. The wooden frame sitting on the top is sloped as per photo so grapes would fall down creating pressure. I have disassembled it for storage ease but easy enough to put back together. It is quite a unique piece dating back to very early 1900's - could probably be used to make cider. It does need a stand to rest on as the one in photo is not there anymore. It has handles on the two support/carry props - measures 1.45m long and 70cm wide at the top of the frame.
