Beautiful old Petter AA1 stationary diesel engine.

3.5 HP at 3600 RPM

Original condition, driving a water pump in its previous life.

Starts and runs very well, idles nicely and accelerates smoothly all the way to the full power governed speed of 3600.

Check out this video of it running straight from a cold start, it was cold outside so a squirt of oil in the primer was required so you'll see a bit of blue smoke at first. At the .25sec mark you can hear the RPM change as some heat gets into the head and she smooths out nicely

Includes rope start, flywheel drive pulley (removed in photos), original manual with service history, it appears to have had a complete overhaul in 1981.

I bought it as restoration project, but sadly I have too many projects and I must part with this lovely old engine.

Pick up preferred, it weighs approx 50kg, but will strap to a pallet and take to Main Freight if you can organise from your end.
