Guillotine cuts 10mm thick mild steel plate @ 2.4m long and can also slit cut. Also cuts 12mm flat bar.

• It is not easy to change the blade clearance, so it cuts 2mm to 10mm mild steel fine on the one setting. Any thinner than 2mm and it can fold the material over a bit at times.
• It does have a new knife which could be fitted which will make it perform better as it used to cut 1.55 sheet fine.
• 3 phase power.
• Comes with a spare knife which we have not got around to fitting. Is an old machine but a goodie and built like a brick sh…t house.
• The hydraulic pump makes a funny noise, but it has made the same noise for the last 8 years & still seems to keep going fine.
• The left hand cutting hydraulic ram leaks oil. We have changed the seal in the past and it takes about a day. We have not bothered fixing it this time and just keep a pile of saw dust under it then top up the hydraulic oil every now and again.
• We have had it for over 12 years and used it quite a bit, but we have just brought a water jet profiler, so this machine is surplus to requirements. If we didn’t need the extra room, we would not be selling it.
