PLA-CF - Composite Carbon Fibre PLA 1.75mm
Product comes on a vacuum packed cardboard reel.
NOTE: Requires a wear resistant nozzle - best is a hardened steel nozzle - check out our listings of low cost and high end quality nozzles. It is recommended to use nozzles >0.4mm - if you use 0.4mm, make sure you use a good quality smooth nozzle otherwise you might run into extrusion problems.
Carbon fibre filaments use tiny fibres that are infused into a base material to improve the properties of that material. These fibres are extremely strong and cause the filament to increase in strength and stiffness. This also means that the 3D printed parts will be much lighter and more dimensionally stable, as the fibres will help prevent shrinking of the part as it cools.

*Stiffer than regular PLA with better dimensional stability for warp-free printing, excellent layer adhesion and easy support removal.
*Matte black finish on prints that hides layer lines for more attractive printed parts.
*Precision is comparable to standard PLA, no heated bed required.
*We recommend printing this material at 190-220C using a 0.4mm or large nozzle, please note that this filament is more brittle than normal PLA and requires more careful handling to prevent breaking.
