Description
Fred's Shed weaving loom designed and made by Fred and Pam Frahm in Nelson, New Zealand.
The countermarch system has two sets of lams. Because of this, some shafts are raised to make a shed and some are lowered. Other types of looms either raise or lower the shafts but not both. With the countermarch, every shaft is tied to every pedal, through one of the lams.
The loom is in great condition, unfortunately some handles of the warp's capstan were broken during shifting. It didn't bother us as it hasn't affected the use of it, but it would be an easy fix if need be.
Ideally the buyer picks it up and dismantles it by themselves. Just because assembling could be like a puzzle.
