Swamp Kauri is a prehistoric timber, preserved in Northland’s peat swamps for up to 45,000 years. Although fully workable, it behaves differently from modern, freshly cut timber.

Expect: * Natural cracks or gum features * Internal tension or movement * Unique grain patterns and ancient coloration
