Introduction

This reversing macro coupling ring allows you to mount a front threaded lens in reverse on a lens mount camera. Reversing the lens greatly increases the macro reproduction capabilities.

These Macro reversing rings allow two lenses to function as one.

One is attached as normal on the camera, the other is reversed on front of the camera lens. The reversing ring screws into the filter thread of both lenses. This offers the closest focus of them all. The best results are obtained when a smaller focal length lens such as a 50mm is reversed on the front of a longer one, say 105mm.

You need to shoot with the reversed lens at the maximum aperture because the image may go black at the edges as you stop down (vignetting).

Please use smaller not large zoom lenses with these rings.

Because the reversed lens is attached by its filter mount, you are not restricted to using lenses designed for your camera system. You can even reverse enlarging lenses.

This is a 67-67mm coupling ring/adapter. It allows you to use 2 lenses with the 67mm and 67mm filter size to face one another. Step up/down rings can be used for the other lens thread sizes.
