Oh hey, so this is a funny one. PLEASE READ EVERY WORD OF THIS LISTING.

So I fell in the ocean (and rolled around haha) in December '23 with both my Sony A7iii's and lenses.

This $1 reserve auction is for 1 Sony A7iii that is CURRENTLY WORKING WITH QUIRKS and a Tamron 28-75mm lens that works with quirks also. THESE HAVE BEEN IN THE OCEAN.

Check out my other listing for the A7iii and Sony G Master 85mm lens that fared a little worse but still have some kind of signs of life haha. Those have been in the ocean too.

This A7iii has not been looked over by a professional. I have turned it on maybe 20 times and taken some photos with it but haven't tested it on a shoot or a great length or anything like that. If you turn it off, you have to take the battery out and put it in again, rather than just switching the on off. The exposure compensation dial does not work - I have programmed it into the function menu for easy access and this does work. There is a little bit of corrosion/rust SD card door hinges/battery space.

The LCD screen on the back does work. The viewfinder doesn't work.

I have taken RAW images and a short video with this camera/lens combo today (and on lots of other days).

I haven't stumbled across anything else that doesn't work yet.

Lens appears to work ok but I can see water spots inside the front element - final photo of white wall is with this camera lens combo at smallest aperture so you can see.
