Reserve price is massive saving on what the matt black finished amp ended up costing, plus you avoid many hours of effort to make this a reality. Expert vinyl wrap specialists were commissioned to carefully design & manufacture the fascia wrap for both this amp & a Cambridge CXN V2 Streamer. An expensive, challenging & time-consuming project. Bespoke costs incurred for CAD, CNC, materials & application - lots of attention to difficult to achieve details such as silver vinyl circle applied to copy the original placement of the volume indicator. The knob edges are the native silver grey as it was impossible to apply a perfect wrap around the edge of the volume knob. Premium quality UV resistant vinyl as used on sports supercars & engineered to withstand outdoor elements, very much less demanding on this top grade, durable material to be inside a home. Exceptionally fussy owner so in terrific condition & part of a 3rd System that has only been powered on occasionally to play background music - not even run in. PLEASE NOTE: Even best vinyl wrap work is never perfect & with closer inspection a slight ridge or edge here and there that I have done my best to show such vinyl quirks in the pics. However, overall finish is good & any slight imperfections not noticed by most people from a reasonable distance, who thought units looked factory, which was the project aim. Care - vinyl fascia edges need more gentle handling during transport/install/cleaning.
