For auction are six Sony PRMD-74 blank minidiscs (MD). All are brand new and still sealed, and all discs are rated for 74 minutes at SP recording as per their model numbers (wouldn't recommend using these for LP recordings).

These are studio-grade in quality and were used in the industry in the 90s / early 00s, as the (then supposed) replacement to CDs. Designed for reliable heavy duty work (recording, playback, erasing, recording, and repeating this cycle frequently), that endurance characteristic meant these were often used for archiving purposes as well. Being a North American release, these come with sturdy matching jewel cases (JDM discs come with a simple sleeve) to allow for a bit of abuse-resistance. All discs made in Japan.

Hard to track down unused, sealed and in as-new condition. Only offered via Sony's B2B (Business-to-Business) channels back in the day.
