This console has been tested and plays both PlayStation 3 game discs and PlayStation 2 game discs perfectly well. This is also compatible with original Sony PlayStation 1 game discs. The plastic flap at the front of the console is missing the top plastic strip as pictured in IMAGES 4 & 6, but this is purely cosmetic and again does not hinder its perfect performance in any way.
