The reason these batch made beans are so much tastier than commercially roasted beans is that because they are done in large batches they are always over roasted to make sure all are suitable for brewing whereas smaller batches are each personally and closely monitored meaning the are released from the roaster just at the right time because it can be 5-10 seconds from being to green to perfect to over cooked meaning the flavours burnt away..
