Coloured black sheepskins can actually be any colour from dark chocolate brown to charcoal grey or lighter cameo cream with light brown edges. They are all natural and are not dyed.

Each sheepskin is unique and they are not available in large quantities.

Sheepskin rugs are perfect as a soft throw over a chair or sofa, or at the end of a bed. And you can also display them on an ottoman. They can also be used in a hallway, beside a bed or in front of a fireplace to great effect.

Your carefully selected Sheepskin may have been tightly packaged for the journey home and so the wool may appear flattened. Wool fibers are very resilient and will bounce back to their original springy appearance.

A vigorous shake will help restore the soft, fluffy appearance of the wool. Fluff them up with a wool carding brush
