Very high quality and very well defined. The pile is hand woven wool with design elements highlighted in silk yarn. It is made by a woman, which takes around 4 to 5 months to finish this hand-knotted Rug

This Rug is knotted in workshops in the city of NAIN in Persia (Iran), near Isfahan. The bright Red, soft Blue and Cream colours, intricate Floral Patterns of the Rug are influenced by the decorations in the nearby mosques of Isfahan

NAIN is in the centre of Iran and has a long history of making the finest quality Persian rugs. Nain as a weaving center dates back to the 1920, at first producing Isfahan rugs. In the 1930s it developed it's own identity for very fine precise workshop rugs on a cotton foundation
