Dahlia Richards Fortune terrific new anemone-flowered variety, starts off with a dark centre before opening to become self-coloured lilac, with just the smallest amount of glistening white on the tips of the central boss. Looks like an echinacea on steroids with its large petal packed flowers.

Flowers around 10 cm across and on stems around 1 m tall.

Flower buds develop in early summer and bloom through autumn until the weather cools considerably. They put in a fantastic display with a succession of flowers on each plant.

Dahlias are best grown in well-drained sites in full sun. They are well suited to growing in pots and containers. Add a little fertiliser, organic matter or humus each year for best growing.

To ensure your plants are delivered promptly, we normally ship on Monday and Tuesday for delivery during the working week. Plants purchased before noon each Saturday will normally be shipped the Monday or Tuesday following. Plants purchased after this time will usually be shipped the week following.
