Famed Luthier ‘Mac’ McElwain selected prime native woods to create this guitar Kauri and Kahikatea blended in his workshop.
There is a hardback booklet of 12 pages describing the build in great detail which goes with the sale.
This incredible instrument was finished in 2017 and I bought it in 2020 after trying it out and loving the resonance and, for me, the quite slim Kauri neck.
