Description
This beautiful amp has been my main amp since 2020. Selling now only because I want to go digital. This amp has a classic sound from the rich clean tones to the crunchy overdrive. It handles pedals super well, either straight in, or through the effects loop. It also stands up well on its own with a channel selector and a solo boost on the foot switch. Channel 2 can be set to overdrive, which gives you the options of clean, drive, and a boost in volume for taking solos all just with the one foot switch. It also has loads of options for additional speakers, slave speakers, extension switches, and reverb tones all on the back of the amp. This amp just has loads of versatility while having a super solid base.
In my time owning this amp it’s been well looked after. Never been dropped, had drinks spilt on, or any other kind of rough treatment. I’ve recently spent $600 on it at Electric Audio, who replaced all the tubes (including the rectifier), and gave the thing a full look over.
It has some stains on the top from the previous owner, and the vinyl is slightly torn in a couple spots.
This amp is hard to find (I can’t see any others for sale in NZ), and has rave reviews, it’s a workhorse with boutique level tones and I will be sad to see it go.
Here is a particularly sparkly review which describes it as possibly having the best clean tone ever: https://youtu.be/rO-xHMr06jQ?si=kQ5TmgHJHjh9Gf2r

Viewing/pickup is in Sydenham. I could potentially look at posting it at buyer risk, though it won’t be cheap.

can I get a quote for postage to Auckland? or maybe a quote to have you personally deliver it? s*******5 (99 • 6:48 pm, Wed, 2 Oct )Hi, I’ve been quoted $92 for economy (2-3 days) or $154 for overnight. Although I haven’t accounted for packaging etc, I would build a crate for it if I was shipping it. Driving it up would be considerably more I would imagine. dark_rags (146 • Wednesday, 2 October 2024 )Ok, cheers for the response. If you could get a quote for the crate as well, it would help me make a decision if I'd want to buy or not. I am seriously considering it! s*******5 (99 • 12:26 pm, Thu, 3 Oct )Let’s call it $120, if it goes over I’ll cover the rest. dark_rags (146 • Thursday, 3 October 2024 )
