Rocky is an affectionate and loveable medium sized 1 year old, female, Huntaway x.

Good with cats: Ok. Good with dogs: Yes. Good with birds/chickens: Yes. Good with children under 10: Yes. Good with children over 10: Yes. Needs fencing at least: 1.5 metres high. Can be left alone during work hours: No - Not initially.

Rocky is an adventurous pup who likes to explore and know what is going on. She loves nothing more to play with her humans and foster friends. If you have a scratch or a belly rub she will be the first in line. She loves attention and craves love and affection. She is very friendly and has lots of energy to burn.

Rocky would suit someone who is home some of the day, and is very active!

Rocky is a very active and energetic dog. If she doesn’t have enough stimulation she gets into mischief.

Rocky is very intelligent. She has learnt sit, down, shake and high 5. Her foster family are still working on recall and No. She walks OK on the lead. She sleeps perfectly in her crate at night with no toileting issues.

Ellie’s Canine Rescue are based in Wellington, depending on the dog we do adopt out of the Wellington region but request any potential owner meet us and the dog in person and if successful drive home with the dog. We do not ship dogs unmet.
