Jai is a beautiful and loving 1.5 yr old female Staffy X looking for her forever home.

Jai has some anxieties about meeting strangers and adult males. She & her foster are working with a local trainer to help with this.

Through our fosters Jai has learnt what love is, her name, sit, toileting and how to play with people & dogs.

Jai is a very cuddly and affectionate dog. She loves people she knows and getting pats.

She warms up quickly with females and loves treats. She loves going on daily walks and sniffing around new places. Jai sleeps through the night in her crate.

Jai is still a bit wary of adult males from past negative experiences, but she slowly warms up to them. She is good with 20 yr old males.

Jai is still working on her walking manners but is making big improvements with her foster.

Cats: Unsure, could be good with confident cats. Dogs: Excellent with female dogs. Good with confident male dogs. Kids: Great with 8+. Hasn't met younger kids. Fencing: at least 1.5m

Ellie’s Canine Rescue are based in Wellington, depending on the dog we do adopt out of the Wellington region but request any potential owner meet us and the dog in person and if successful drive home with the dog. We do not ship dogs unmet.
