Max is a very loving, loyal male 9mths old, large (approx size when full grown) Labrador x Staffy

Good with cats: Yes - dog savvy ones that don't run Good with dogs: Yes - after slow intros (living with dogs currently) Good with children under 10: No Good with children over 10: Yes Needs fencing at least: 1.5m high  Can be left alone during work hours: Yes - with other dogs for company

Max has had a hard life before he came to us. He was scarred from an adult dog bite and as a result can be anxious of strange dogs. He is currently seeing an animal behaviourist with his foster to help him and he is improving.

Max is also a bit anxious of some loud noises. He needs a calm, experienced dog home with people who can continue to help him heal.

Max is a very smart and loving boy, once you have his trust he will be your bestest, cuddliest companion. He travels well in the car and loves going on big adventures

Ellie’s Canine Rescue are based in the Greater Wellington region, depending on the dog we do adopt out of the Wellington region but request any potential owner meet us and the dog in person and if successful drive home with the dog. We do not ship dogs unmet.
