Description
Now 4 months old (Born mid January).
See photos.
Guinea pigs do well in same sex groups, very social animals and thrive within community.
Please see SPCA website if this is your first time considering pet Guinea pigs. They require a certain amount of care and attention much same as other pets. Also they specifically require vitamin C to be available as part of their daily diet in order to maintain health and not develop deficiency. (There is heaps of information on the net, with lists of vegetable garden plants etc that have adequate levels and how much to offer your pet). There are plenty of formulated pellets on market, just check back of packets to see if vitamin C in included (we go with Topflite brand).
They have all been loved and handled by children from the start. With Guinea pigs I've found the more you put in you get out. They love to chill on your lap if you provide a bowl of salad for the occasion. They enjoyed tunnels and climbing. They will lovingly call out to you when they wish their runs to be moved along to fresher grass or if someone tipped up the water dish.
These are all short haired breed and do not require regular brushing or haircuts.
Only selling as/ in same sex pairs for $60 2 Boys Or Choose 2 from the three girls avaliable. (If you would like the three together that would be $75)
Pick up Duntroon, North Otago.
