This RARE & SOUGHT AFTER Rivendell Bicycle Works road frame is no longer available, so opportunities like this rarely come up. Try doing some research and you'll see that a) people want this frame, and b) they very rarely come up for sale, and NEVER in NZ!

Designed by the legendary Grant Peterson and handmade in Japan by Tetsu Ishigaki of Toyo master framebuilders.

This Auction includes:

• Rivendell Rambouillet lugged steel frame & lugged fork
• Shimano Ultegra threaded headset & spacers
• One-of-a-kind metallic-blue paint work with cream-filled lug windows (this frame was custom-painted specially for exhibit at Interbike USA). In the sun it has a slight aqua highlight to it. It looks fantastic.

Size 60cm. 58cm top tube, 72 degrees seat tube angle.

This frame was exhibited by Rivendell at Interbike Bike Show in Anaheim USA, as shown in the photos with the checkerboard tires. I bought it from Rivendell following that exhibit. I am the only owner. All the other photos are the frame as built up by me to give you some ideas.

I have used this bike with drop bars, time trial bars, flat bars, skinny 23mm tires, 37mm tires, fenders, clip in pedals, platform pedals, saddlebags, rack with small pannier, on-road and even on some easy trails. This bike is incredibly versatile.

Condition is excellent, with the usual signs of use and a small ding in the top tube which I have shown in the close-up photos.

For extra fender versatility, this frame takes long-reach brakes. I have some for sale.
