Windermere Memory Lane (Laney) Quality 14.1hh Riding Pony | Show Hunter Prospect | Performance or Broodmare

Laney is a well-bred 14.1hh (144cm) riding pony by Hopefield Silhouette out of Linden Masquerade. She has been part of our family since being professionally produced in 2020 and has been a rewarding pony to own.

Laney competed in the show ring up until last season. As our children have now aged out of ponies, she is no longer being campaigned (but has been in work). While she has shown successfully, we feel her strengths lie toward the jumping and show hunter arena, where she has unlimited potential. Jumping has not been our primary focus, and she may require further schooling and mileage in this area, which has been fully reflected in her price. Due to our daughter competing multiple ponies each season, Laney has not had the exposure she could have.

Laney is well schooled on the flat and rides forward and responsive. She is not suitable as a first pony and requires a capable, confident rider who can continue her education. She forms a strong bond with her rider and, while she can be enthusiastic under saddle, she is maturing well with age and consistent work.

On the ground, Laney is calm, easy to handle and a good doer, with no trouble maintaining condition. With her breeding, conformation and movement, she would also make a lovely future broodmare.
