Parents of 6 Kevin & Kiri Swannell set up Limitless Hope in 2013 as a local Soup Truck in Napier. While they personally funded their project and relied on fundraising and donations within the community, they met the immediate need by providing food and relationships with customers, but deeper research unveiled the need for a temporary emergency shelter within Hawkes Bay, and so Kevin & Kiri took it upon themselves to extend their vision, capture the market and take their organisation to the next level to cater to their customers effectively. The goal of limitless hope is to provide short term emergency shelter, and a comprehensive empowerment program. The vision of Limitless Hope is to expand their home-based operation and establish a much needed emergency shelter and advocacy service which will include a whole range of life skill programs under one roof, whilst continuing to network with other agencies and service providers. Property Brokers Napier heard Limitless Hope's vision and donated a house to their cause, but they still need Land and Finances to relocate the building. They have made a goal to reach $100,000.00 by July 31, and all proceeds made by Trademe Auctions will be donated to the emergency shelter appeal. There has never been a shelter of this nature in New Zealand before, however, Limitless Hope believes that the proposed shelter will make significant impact on the community, in both, short term relief and long term skill development and empowerment.
