Description

1971 Rover 2.6 6 cylinder One Ton for sale, NO PLATES!! Original Rover six engine has been replaced with a Holden 202 3.3Litre at some stage original engine mounts are still on chassis. I have had engine going but runs rough so might need some work. Gearbox and transfer box according to previous owner are all good, vehicle came with a lot of parts from elderly previous owner who cannot drive any more, been parked up for few years. Drivetrain is all there with ENV axles H/ D fine spline front outer axles with AVM Free Wheeling Hubs. Big 3" x 11" Front brakes instead of std 109" 2 1/4" x 11" brakes. As vehicle was made in 1971 when changed to Series 3 they have used series 3 Bulkhead from factory with rest using up 2A parts. Comes with various body parts half cab roof, or full hardtop roof but no side panels at moment, 4 guards plus bonnet and any other parts I can help with. Chassis appears to be solid including rear cross member has factory removable bolt in gearbox cross member, top of Bulkhead on drivers side needs repairing with parts available for that. Any questions please ask, or Phone Dave 0274 71 5115
