CHARITY AUCTION – ONE OF A KIND RED BULL AMPOL RACING BONNET

This is a replica of Shane Van Gisbergen’s custom themed New Zealand edition race bonnet – signed by the entire Red Bull Ampol Racing team including SVG, Jamie Whincup and Broc Feeney. Made to celebrate the Supercars Series as it returns to New Zealand Soil for the first time in three years.

Shane iconically won the last ever race at Pukekohe Raceway coming from 8th on the grid to win as he passed Cam Waters with only 3 laps remaining to take his third Jason Richards Memorial trophy in iconic fashion.

We are auctioning this off in an effort to raise money for Spinal Cord Injury research. 100% of money raised being directly donated to the Wings for Life Foundation. The ultimate goal is to find a cure for Spinal Cord injury.

WHAT IS THE WINGS FOR LIFE FOUNDATION?

Worldwide, millions of people are dependent on a wheelchair after having sustained a spinal cord injury, most often as the result of a traffic accident or a fall.

Wings for Life is a not-for-profit spinal cord research foundation with the single mission to find the cure for spinal cord injury. Since 2004, Wings for Life has funded life-changing research projects and clinical trials around the globe in cooperation with renowned institutions like Yale University, Harvard Medical School, Charité Berlin, University of California, University of Zurich and many more. While the cure is still to be found, steady progress has been made.
