""GCG"" branded Turbocharger heat bag, designed to be fitted to the Turbocharger's exhaust housing. This turbo bag suits Garrett exhaust housings from GT42, all the way through to the entire GT45 range of externally wastegated housings. This bag will also suit the old TA45 turbine housings, that are slightly bigger than T4 sized housings. When a turbocharged vehicle is under high load, the turbine housing on the turbo can get extremely hot, as can the manifold and dump pipe. Turbo bags have numerous benefits for performance street/strip turbocharged vehicles, the most important being the reduction of under bonnet temperatures, and the protection of parts surrounding the exhaust housing. They also benefit by keeping heat inside the turbine housing, which allows the turbocharger to come onto boost a little quicker. Product Notes:The inside of these bags are rated to 800°C.
