1UZ Ignition coil

Brand new ignition coil for Toyota V8 1uzfe/Lexus v8 1uz-fe 4 litre engines, series one and two motors only. Both coils are the same part number. Remove the 4 small screws from the bracket to change.

We sell a lot of these as they do tend to fail now. Please check the igniton leads as well as high resistance of the leads will lead to failed coils.

One common symptom with a 1uz engine running standard management is the engine will start then stall. It is like the fuel injectors are being turned off. This is due to the feedback loop from the ignitors detection a fault in the ignition coils and the ECU shuting down the injectors to safe the converters and limiting engine damage.

Another symptom is the engine will start fine, idle fine, but make no power due to running on only 4 cylinders.
