Dual Battery Solar Charge Controller PWM 10A Controls 2 Batteries Simultaneously
Stores are flooded with solar controllers of varying degrees of usefulness, BUT! the vast majority of them all have the same drawback, and that is, they only control one battery bank, meaning you need to involve extra equipment and go to extra expense, if you need to monitor two household battery banks or in a vehicle, the house battery bank and the vehicle battery (often forgotten)
This unit will control TWO house battery banks or one house bank and your motor start battery as well.
Features Controls 2 completely separate battery banks simultaneously Highly efficient PWM (Pulse-width modulation) system Electronic protection from over charging short circuit or accidental reverse battery connection Max solar input voltage: 30V (12V), 55V (24V) Battery input voltage range: 8-15V (12V), 8-30V (24V) Overnight self-consumption: 4mA
Specifications Width : 153mm Height : 76mm Depth : 37mm Required Voltage : 12V / 24V Current Draw : 10.0A Charge Controller Technology : Pulse Width Modulated (PWM)
Includes a connection port for a Remote Temp Sensor (optional) to remotely monitor battery temperature Local Temperature sensor: Measures ambient temperature. Battery regulation is adjusted accordingly Battery 1: Provides Charging, Battery status and Errors Battery 2: Provides Charging, Battery status and Errors Remote meter connection: A communication port for the remote meter (Not Included) Note: In absence of RTS, the controller calculates the data received from the local temp sensor. The controller will switch to RTS reading automatically when RTS is used.
Recommended solar panel to use with this controller is rated at 150 watts and 8.3Amps. (output of the controller is limited by the current output of the solar panel feeding it)
