The California is a front-engined grand tourer introduced in 2008 as Ferraris first model with a retractable hardtop and a front-mounted V8. It marked a significant shift in the brands design philosophy, offering a more versatile, everyday Ferrari experience.

Powered by a 4.3-litre V8 engine generating 453hp, it features a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and delivers 0-100kmph acceleration in approximately 4 seconds with a top speed of 310kmph a figure achieved through over 1000 hours of use of a wind tunnel during development. Combining high performance with comfort, the California blends Ferraris racing heritage with modern touring capabilities.

This Azzuro California example arrived here from Singapore in 2020, and since that time has had one New Zealand owner. It has subsequently travelled 37,767km, and is regularly serviced by Continental Cars. Accompanying the car are its handbooks and service history.
