1990 Ford Laser TX3

Ford laser TX3 2wheel drive non turbo. I have owned this car twice, the first time for a few years then I lent it out for 9 or 10 years to a family member, the second time I have owned the car for about 5 years.

Full body resto, very little rust in the rear bumper mounting area. The car was painted in 3 different shades of gray, body, bumper lip and the side trim all being a different shade of grey.

Engine was removed and stripped to a short block, the bores were in good condition but the head required some work due to a jammed shut PCV valve, valves cleaned and reseated new valve stem seals, head skimmed and the cams were in excellent condition. New cam buckets.

Gearbox was stripped and serviced by Geartech and a new M Factory helical LSD was fitted.

Replaced. front and rear shocks. Jamex -40mm springs Steering ball joints and A arm outer ball joints Lower arm Caster bush's. New discs and pads, grooved discs in the rear. starter motor. Cam belt, tensioners, water pump. Tires. spare front upholstery. new headers and 2" exhaust to the rear muffler.

Time for this little car to move on I don't use it as much as I should, very exciting to drive. Here is a face book Page I created which shows more photos
