Description

Top model, top spec, this XJ had every box ticked when initially ordered and would have cost approx $320,000.

Beautiful to drive, the engine is an absolute delight - effortless power, lovely rumble from the exhaust.

Incredibly comfortable, but glued to the road, it provides great confidence around corners.

Arguably one of the best cars ever made and with engines getting smaller and smaller these V8’s are becoming more collectible and harder to replace.

There are a variety of areas where the vehicle could be improved cosmetically, the paint has some pin striping and stone chips, the head lights are clouding over slightly and the alloys have a fair few scrapes.

Interior is over all in very good condition, leather is excellent but would benefit from a good leather rejuvenation treatment.

The sun shades motor has stopped working but the sun roof is fully functional.

Both keys have lost their rubber cover. You can upgrade the keys to the latest Jaguar sets but this requires a new module installed.

The car was imported by Giltraps into NZ when it was practically brand new but it isn’t technically an ‘NZ new’ car.

Jeremy Clarkson raced the sun in this exact model.
