Description
I am one of the Blondini MINI Cooper S’s who starred in the 2017 Kiwi film, PORK PIE ( the reimagining of the classic hit, GOODBYE PORK PIE).
I featured in a number of key scenes in the movie, particularly the scenes that required a manual transmission - as I am the only manual from my Blondini family.
My brother, who was sadly burned to death at the end of the shoot (god bless his soul), and my other brother, who was driven by a stunt driver from above in a remotely driven roll cage on his roof), were the two major stunt cars in the film and completed the more vigorous stunt action. My role on set wasn’t very physically exerting. They filmmakers cast me for my “manual shift and acting chops” they said…
I have just 13,314km’s on my clock. So I’m at the peak of my career and drive like a dream. I come with all the bells and whistles available from MINI; leather sport seats, heads-up display, reversing camera, sunroof, Bluetooth tech, a pumping Harmon Kardon Hi-Fi stereo system, 18 months of 24 hour roadside assistance and scheduled service plan support remaining, and MINI's twin-turbo Sport Mode, Mid Mode for every day MINI fun and Green Mode for economy.
I flew through a full mechanical check up this week (as well as a AA Euro Platinum 50 point service). I am happy to go through another audition for any seriously interested buyers.
Post-filming, I also went to the Doc for some minor cosmetic surgery (don’t judge me, all us movie stars are doing it these days..), so my body is in great nick. If you buy me, not only will you get my high performance & the company of a retired movie star, you will get:
***1 x Pork Pie movie poster and DVD signed by other cast members, the filmmakers and I (delivered in May 2017)
The Producer of the film has been driving me since the shoot. He’s looked after me well. He says he’s sad to see me go but needs to free up some dosh for his next movie. Showbiz huh?
