1973 Morris 1300
Background check
Description
Letting go of my 1973 Morris 1300, a classic British compact sedan that's been well-kept in great shape. This imported car has a 1.3-litre petrol engine that still runs well after all these years. I'm only the second owner in New Zealand.
What makes this Morris special is its vintage appeal combined with practical drivability. It's easy to handle around town and fits into tight parking spots with ease. The compact design means it's good on fuel while still offering enough room for passengers.
The car has been well maintained and is in great shape for its age. Designed by the same team behind the iconic Mini, this Morris offers a genuine slice of British motoring history with its right-hand drive layout.
Features:
- 1275cc petrol engine
- Classic sedan styling
- Compact and easy to drive
- Well-maintained mechanics
- Low odometer reading for its age
- Always garaged
If you're looking for a classic car with character that you can actually use regularly, this Morris 1300 could be ideal. Feel free to ask any questions.
Questions & Answers
Beautiful little car you have. Can we get some engine bay photos added if possible? How does it run in general, carbs all tuned nicely? Cheers aj-customs (338 • 9:15 am, Mon, 10 Nov )The car was originally my late parents and has been parked in the garage for many years, getting a run every few months. The car goes well and starts first go. It does burn a little oil so the motor may need some attention. Excellent tyres, paint, body & interior. The rego has been on hold since 2021. pjsully28 (0 • Monday, 10 November 2025 )Could it be driven on to a car transporter with out problems? Thanks. classic57 (734 • 11:14 pm, Thu, 27 Nov )2nd question.. What date does the 'on hold' rego expire? Cheers. classic57 (734 • 11:15 pm, Thu, 27 Nov )
