For Sale: 1972 Morris 1000 – Tobacco Orange, Full of Heart & History

It’s not easy for me to write this, but the time has come to let my beloved 1972 Morris 1000 find a new home. I’ve owned this little beauty for many years, and it’s been so much more than a car to me—it’s been a companion, a character, and a constant reminder of how joyful simple motoring can be.

Finished in its wonderfully quirky tobacco orange, it still turns heads wherever it goes. The paint has aged with charm, and the original period stickers are still proudly in place, adding to its unmistakable personality. It’s the kind of car that makes people smile, even before you start it.

but it does need some work with someone that has time, tools, or enthusiasm to give it the love and care it deserves. I’ve kept it going as best I could over the years, but I simply don’t have the capability anymore to maintain it the way it ought to be maintained. It deserves to be driven, tinkered with, polished, and cherished—not left waiting for attention I can’t give.

If you’re looking for a project with soul, or you’ve always wanted a Morris that hasn’t been over-restored or stripped of its originality, this is the one. I’m hoping it will go to someone who appreciates its history and wants to keep that story going.
