1958 Morris Other J2 van

1958 Morris J2 van in good working condition. Was originally a taxi van in Auckland. First registered in 1958 and had continuous registration since. Just passed a new wof today and registered until May next year. In the last 12 months I have spent more than my start price on maintenance that needed doing. It has had all new brakes, new linings, machined drums, new wheel cylinders and master. New tyres that haven't even done 100 miles yet, sandblasted and powder coated rims and new hubcaps imported from England. New front and rear screen rubbers fitted, new front floors made and fitted as old ones had rust pits in them. New radiator which was not cheap and new hoses. New battery, new fuel hoses and filter, new wiper inserts and a lot more including a full service and carburetor overhaul. It has the original roll down blind at the back of the cab and mechanically gone over to make reliable. Great promotional vehicle to advertise your buisiness on or use as a classic van. Everyone has a kombi, but you won't see a row of these parked at a show. Probably the best looking, coolest looking van of the 50s. I dont usually take it out in the rain but had to, to get these photos.
