Barn Find: Begging restoration and repaint, unchromed 1-1 "Custom Chambers" exhausts realistic Honda 750 sound but a bit louder New OEM Honda 750 Dual Seat, US Handlebars, Have the front mudguard and correct forks separate with bike. Started and ran good (last time I rode it) but as with all stored collectibles, it is "As Is Where Is". Not much needed to have it roadworthy for Summer. View Ellerslie Auckland on appointment.

  • A photo of the left hand side might be useful! Were the carbs stored dry or full of fuel?henrydorsetcase(475)10:58 am, Tue, 19 NovLeft side photo added. Stored for ten years, can't recall if carbs emptied or not. probably dried up by now anyway?oggie1(194)• Tuesday, 19 November 2019
  • Tks. It does dry but leaves a filthy disgusting residue that takes ultrasonic cleaning and a carb kit to sort out. Dont ask me how I know.henrydorsetcase(475)05:30 pm, Tue, 19 NovI know too. The gasket kit is easy: Ebay. About $15 I think. The ultrasonic needs the carbs off, so that's a nuisance, but do-able.oggie1(194)• Tuesday, 19 November 2019

  • Sorry, no, I think he may have been referring to a tv program called "Get Smart"... The agents had number "99" and "86" etc... Main guy was Maxwell Smart, phone in the shoe type thing, was a spoof... Depending on what generation you are from... Google it for a laugh... xmac61 was directing his "How do you know" comment at henrydorsetcase's comment "Don't ask me how I know", Just a bit of fun, no offence intended...bridgerecording(748)08:44 am, Thu, 21 NovHey! • Custom Chambers in Auckland will make any exhausts you like. Address: 30 Kerwyn Avenue, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013 Hours: Opens 6:30AM FriSeller comment Thursday, 21 November 2019
  • Hey their, is the exhaust on the lefthand side damaged as its out of alignment & have you got the headlight & surround, cheersgegnus(108)04:52 pm, Wed, 27 NovThe left side pipe is not damaged. It's not bolted up. I don't have the headlight stuff. I can look in my parts bin,but don't think I have that part.City Motorcycles (who did work on it) didn't give it back. But that was quite some time ago, so asking them (if they are still in business) would be futile. One right side pipe has suffered some corrosion. Don't know how, as it was always stored indoors. Ask Custom Chambers who did the chroming.oggie1(194)• Wednesday, 27 November 2019
  • Do you think you should talk about this in the cone of silence at controlcoolio3(24)01:45 pm, Thu, 28 Nov
