An impressive Greek revival building, the Masonic Lodge in Invercargill is the third hall built for the Masons in the city. Designed by Broderick & Royd, it was completed in 1926.

Constructed in brick and concrete, the building's restrained facade includes a plain parapet and cornice atop some bold fluted doric columns. Registered under the Historic Places Act 1980, the lodge, by its sitting and architectural splendor, is a highly significant building and arguably the most impressive of any lodge building in the country.
