Fully established cherry orchard at Mt Pisa ,Cromwell. This 4.06ha property has approximately 3.15ha of cherry trees planted currently under management. The tree varieties consisting of Lapins ,Sweetheart and Staccato are typically harvested in the period from early January through to the end of January. The orchard is fully netted for bird protection and frost protection is by way of an Orchard Rite wind machine. There are two sources of water ,one for potable supply and the other from the Pisa irrigation scheme. Water is also stored in an on-site dam. The property also has a designated building site.
