The hard work is done, and you get to enjoy this very private off grid bush block, get woken by a chorus of bird song as the block boasts Tuis, Wood pigeons, quails, swallows and Ruru (Morepork), as well as wild deer and pigs feeding at night around the Bach.

The property has a main dwelling with a paved entertainment area that sleeps up to 5, another bach which sleeps 4 and the Hilton bach which sleeps up to 6.

There is a large garage for parking your toys, a diesel generator for power and a chiller for keeping wild game chilled and the odd beer chilled too.

There is a large flat area at the entrance to the block for family and friends to use for playing games or to ride your dirt bikes or to pitch a tent on, it's a park like entrance to the property which is down a private drive. It's an 8-minute drive to the beach for good fishing and diving, there is a really good community base here where everyone looks out for each other and a voluntary fire crew as well.

Mataikona is really a great place to have a holiday home, we have enjoyed 20 plus years here and will be sad to go but are moving on and look forward to passing on this amazing bush block for a new family or families to enjoy, if you love the outdoors this property has it all.
