Bit of an unusual situation, so please make sure you’ve read it and understood, before applying. I am relocating a second house onto my property in a week’s time. I’ll be moving into that one, meaning the house I’m currently living in, the original house, will be available to rent a couple of weeks after that. Within the first few months of the tenancy, the garage will be removed and the house fenced off from the shared driveway, for greater privacy from passing cars. At this stage, if there’s room, I would build a carport. There will be a garden shed out the back. The house itself is a small three bedroom. Two small-ish double rooms and a single. Only one room has a wardrobe. All bedrooms carpeted. The house was renovated five years ago, so has a modern kitchen and bathroom. It’s open plan and while the kitchen/dining is a good size, the actual lounge part is small, so think about your household dynamics and whether this would suit you. Really only suitable for a maximum of four occupants. The bathroom is family-sized, with toilet, vanity, bath and shower. Separate laundry. It’s a back section in Fenton Park/Whakarewarewa, so away from the (busy) road, with quiet neighbours. Pets negotiable, but no smokers. The garden has some large and sharp cactus plants in it, so possibly not great for toddlers. Looking for long-term, respectful and houseproud tenants who will make it their home. Normal background checks will be run.
