The cabin sits on a the east facing slope of the section. Timber steps meander down the garden and lead through a portal of puriri trees to the cabin. The cabin has its own structural floor making it theoretically a transportable cabin.
You enter the cabin through a set of french doors. 3 further sets of French doors offer the best indoor-outdoor flow. The entrance room doubles as a work room with a built-in desk under the window with space for 2 people side-by-side. A wide set of french doors create a great flow through to the outdoor living. Off the kitchen is a compact den, with a built-in corner couch with storage under, and a second under window bench. It is another great spot for somebody to work, or have meals together with the best view.
A deck runs along the full length at the front of the cabin. It gives access to the two double bedrooms. Each bedrooms has a set of wide french doors and enjoys the fabulous views of the harbour. One of the rooms is currently used as an art studio.
Imagine waking up to the sunrise, get your morning drink, open the French doors and watch the sun rise, and in winter the harbour fog evaporate. It is a magical spectacle that never tires.
On the deck, in a sheltered spot is a wonderful outdoor shower. Next to the shower is the access to the greenhouse bathroom. It has a bath with hand-held shower over, a vanity and a simple composting toilet. Great harbour and ferry view from the bath!
Timber steps take you from the deck to two other decks and the greenhouse dining room. Lit by fairy lights and candles, and with a capacity to easily seat 6-8 people, it is dining space like no other that wow's your guests.
The lock-wood style cabin has solid timber walls, are double glazed, and have proper insulation in the floors and ceilings. The tongue and groove walls give it a true contemporary cabin feel. The cabin is only 2 years old. It has its own foundation that sits on the deck that acts like skids. There are no flooding risks and the properties has withstood 3 cyclones.
There is a third greenhouse that is used as a shed/potting shed/drying room when it rains. There is a washing machine in a small steel shed.

The rest is a clean canvas for parking, a garage, tiny home etcetera. That area has previously been used for a large caravan.
