A single rotation cutting right is available to acquire across 7 properties within the MNF Estate located in the Whanganui/Rangitikei region. The cutting right covers a total of 554ha net stocked area with mixed age class with the bulk of the forest being predominantly younger age class. The crop is a mixture of pre 1990 and post 1989 forest with any carbon benefit/liability to remain with the landowner.   The cutting right will cover a term of 35 years from the year of establishment of the crop and available for purchase as a means of a one off lumpsum.   The Whanganui district represents an excellent growth region for commercial forestry activities in NZ. This is evident in the vast area of commercial plantation forests in the region. The MNF Estate properties are well positioned to access both local and international markets.
