A total of 332.32 hectares is registered in the ETS under averaging, with a pending subdivision set to provide clearly defined and practical operational boundaries for the incoming owner.

Perkins Forest features predominantly easy rolling terrain with a low environmental risk profile, spanning Land Use Capability Classes 3 to 6 (predominantly Class 5), and is well suited to ground-based harvesting operations.

Strategically positioned within economical cartage distances, the forest is approximately 90 kilometres from Bluff Port and close to key processing infrastructure, including Niagara Sawmill at 61 kilometres, Findlater Sawmill at 65 kilometres, and the Daiken MDF plant just 23 kilometres away.

The property is offered for sale by way of two-stage tender, with non-binding indicative offers closing at 2:00pm on 11 June and the final tender stage closing on 16 July.

Perkins Forest is offered alongside Sinclair Forest, Mark Hill Forest, and the Beaumont Forest Group in the wider Otago/Southland portfolio, which collectively totals approximately 934 net stocked hectares.
